I just bought a new camera!

I'm so excited! I was holding out to replace our 8 year old 1 Megapixel non-zoom camera until after we'd paid all the money we have owing, but as I've mentioned recently, it's gone all blurry. Not sure if the lens is damaged or if it's been dropped once too many times :( I've tried cleaning it to no avail - my phone now takes better photos than our camera!! So I bit the bullet and just ordered a Fuji Finepix S5700 digital camera. I was just going to get another 'point & shoot' cheapie, but for a little bit more money this one seemed a heaps better deal with lots of extras. I'll use some of the money I'm earning with the uni work.

I can't wait for it to arrive so I can play with it! Billy is NOT getting his hands on this one - he can have the old one to play with :)

LOL Kez :)

Fuji is apretty good brand, this camera is 7 mp and 10x optical zoom which in itself are good features. Reading reviews on it there is a pretty major colour problem with it though , apparently coours are pretty inaccurate to real life, hopefully though its not that bad.

I'm a canon girl, all my equipment is Canon so i can be abit biased :)

Yeah that was pretty much the reviews I read - I figured I could live with the colour though - I;m not a professional & Pete's colour-blind :)

I have a Fuji and I love it. It's easy to use (once you actually read the instruction book which took me a little while)and easy to upload.
Hope to see lots of photo's you take with it.

Thanks for dropping by Alita! I haven't had a chance to put any photos up on the blog yet, but so far I'm pretty pleased with what's it's taken.
