Wednesday Weigh-In - Wk 20 (a bit late!)

Weight loss from last week: gained 0.5kg :(
Total weight loss overall: 4.0 kg
Total cms lost off waist: 9 cm

No Hollywood ending for me - I didn't magically get down to the 5kg goal days before Billy's party :( In fact I put on weight because there is junk food in the house and my exercising has been slack as well..

But I did go and buy myself a new pair of jeans anyway - because losing 4kg is a damn good effort and I deserve to look good in a new pair of jeans!! (Considering my other ones were over 2 years old and came from the op shop originally!)

I won't be trying to lose weight for the next couple of weeks - we have Billy's party on Sunday and I'm sure we'll be eating leftovers for the week after that! I'll be happy to not put on too much..

Congratulations Kez,

That 4kg's is a real achievement. I also love that you are being realistic.. no point in putting yourself through a guilt trip about not being able to stick to a diet when the deck is stacked against you.

Maybe rather than having weight loss goals for the next couple of weeks just set exercise goals. I find by letting myself out altogether I find it really hard to get back on track.. changing my criteria for a little while still gives me successes to build on and doesn't require as much adjustment when I am ready to focus on the food side of the equation again.

Darned parties and party food!! Tastes so good. Well done on your losses to date, it's fantastic that you can stop and realise what an awesome achievement 4kg is!! A large sack of potatoes, a newborn baby (well, mine were this big, anyway LOL).

Hope Billy has a fabulous birthday! The weather is looking fantastic for the weekend.
