Don't you just love..

Don't you just love that brief period of time straight after you create a new timetable, or a new schedule, or create a new budget, or start a new exercise routine?  That brief period of time when all feels right with the world?  That brief period of  time when you just know that this will be the one you stick to?  That brief period of time before reality raises its ugly spectre...

ROFL!! All too well I'm afraid, that's why for now I have bascially given up on timetables or schedules, those time periods are all too fleeting for me hehehe

Mmm hmm. That's why I make such plans several times a term. New book outline, new set of goals, new house design ... love that buzz! If only it could last.

So, what WERE you excited about?

Tweaked the budget and came up with a schedule to get all of my outstanding work jobs done in the next few weeks. A double high :)

And yes, reality has already set in in the form of a few extra expenses that cropped up and more clients wanting urgent stuff done!

i know exactly what you are referring to, but it is always something unexpected from outside that messes with our plans.

I'm confused. What is this "schedule" thing you speak of? :o)

You crack me up. I just got home and saw a string of comments from you that I need to publish! I'm so glad you had the chance to enjoy my comics!

Peace and Laughter!

Yep! Thats me today. Today was the first day of waking up at 6am every day to exercise between 6 and 7. Feels so good and I'm telling myself to do it every day forever. I hope I listen to myself ;-)

I've just started FLY lady (again for the zenith time - I am a record holding fly lady drop out, I reckon!) and I am trying REALLY hard to stick with it, but already I have re-written it SEVERAL times - but life DOES flow more smoothly when I am organised, and it does feel good - so why on earth we never stick with it is one of lifes great mysteries!

Mel - I'd probably challenge you for that Flylady drop-out record :)

I think part of it with me is I want to be told what to do - in theory - but not so much in reality!
