In the wake of so many tragedies both world-wide and being suffered by people I know, it makes me so thankful for my health and my friends and family. Thankful for the fact that I can work from home and have such a wonderful lifestyle with homeschooling.
And thankful for my phone that let's me write a blog post while waiting for an appointment! :)

Hi Kerrie,
Just catching up on your blog. How are you all going settling back into the real world?
Hear, hear! If you're refering to what's going on in Japan, yes, it's been depressing watching the news. My heart almost broke watching the youtube coverage. It feels funny to explain this to the boys when they ask why I look so sad, perhaps they aren't as sensitive to the tragedy as I am but honestly, it seems too unfair that the Japanese have to go through 3 bad things in a row like that. Many hugs for you guys and wishes that none of us ever have to experience something even 1/100th as serious as this tragedy.
We're feeling so thankful too, for our freedom, home, food, family, faith, friends, comfort, safety, the sunshine and rain ... lots of everyday things.
I haven't written much lately either, with the perspective of worldwide events and the trials facing some friends making my life seem so small.
Love Vanessa
P.S. Oh, I'm also thankful for my new iMac, bought last weekend :)
Well said! I feel exactly the same way. So much to be grateful for.
Libby, its been flat out here catching up on all the work I wasn't doing while I was away, so I haven't had time to even think about being back in the real world! Seriously, it seems like America was a dream..
I couldn't agree more Kez.
