Halloween Crafts

We don't really celebrate Halloween here in Australia but its a good excuse to do some fun crafts!

The first one we did today was some pin art.  (Very good for fine motor skills!)  Billy did two sheets - the first went on his bedroom window so the light shines through.

And the second wrapped around a glass jar with a tealight inside...

The second craft we did today was to make a flapping bat.  Isn't he cute?!

i think it is great that you are doing so much crafty stuff with your son. my son loves crafts, but some people think it odd that i'm teaching him needle crafts or as one relative says "things women do"

Very cool! I love the lanterns! Great idea. Halloween seems to be getting more and more popular here with kids trick or treating every year. I finally caved last year and let Zak go with his friends (under supervision of course. We even made a sign so kids knew they could stop in here. We also hung some bouncing bats on it that Zak made, some little imp stole them though! LOL
