Wednesday Weigh-In - Wk 5

Weight loss from last week: 0.5 kg - yay me again!
Total weight loss overall: 1.5 kg
Total cms lost off waist: 4cm

I didn't get to do yoga or formal exercise this week but have done a fair bit of 'incidental' exercise - I helped out kicking & chasing the ball at Billy's Auskick training last Wed night, we went on a 3 hr bushwalk with the homeschoolers on Thursday, and I joined in the fairly aerobic activities like 'balloon volleyball' at the homeschool meeting on Monday. I did also do a couple of minutes skipping on Monday night.

My fruit intake has been down because I never feel like eating a piece of fruit while the weather is cold. I'm not sure how I'll address that.

I find fruit consumption in winter tough as well, mostly I just try and swap to small serves of low fat soups for a warming snack..

The one way that I did manage to balance it when I was very focused on eating well was to make "apple pie" mountain bread parcels in the toasting press.. just cubed apple with a sprinking of the tradition spices used for apple pie wrapped in a piece of mountain bread and toasted until crispy. Any other fruit that wouldn't be too sloppy cooked would work this way as well.

Congrats! I've just started my highly strict weight loss and health regime (chuckle, snort). I lost 3 pounds last week (probably all water). I've been doing a bit of yoga and a workout. The diet aspect hasn't quite kicked in yet.

Another good week. I'm with you on the fruit - it doesn't really go with a cup of tea :-). I guess I should have fruit BEFORE I have some tea.
